                   A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENTS OF
                   CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS NAMED HEREIN TO THE
                   BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE GREATER
                   CHATTANOOGA CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
                   CORPORATION, NAMING JIM LOYD AS THE FIRST
                   CHAIRPERSON TO SAID BOARD, AND AUTHORIZING
                   THE AMENDMENT OF THE CHARTER OF SAID
                   CORPORATION.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       appointment of the following individuals from the sponsoring
       organizations to the Board of Directors of the Greater 
Chattanooga

       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That there be and is hereby
       confirmed the appointment of Jim Loyd for a term of three (3)
       years, who has been nominated by the Mayor of the City of
       Chattanooga and the County Executive of Hamilton County, as the
       first Chairperson of the Greater Chattanooga Construction 
Industry
       Corporation; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That, pursuant to paragraph 13
       of the Charter of the Greater Chattanooga Construction Industry
       Corporation, that the governing body of the City of Chattanooga
       consents to the amendment of paragraph 10 of the Charter so as to 

       expand the membership in the Board of Directors to twenty-three

       with respect to the name of the sponsoring organizations.
